We want you to be satisfied with your experience. This policy outlines our refund and cancellation terms for all products and services.
Coaching Sessions
Private, Group, Surf Skate, Pool
- →Cancellation with 24+ hours' notice: Full credit for a future session, or full refund minus payment processing fees for directly paid bookings.
- →Cancellation within 24 hours: No refund or credit. For Momentum Pack bookings, the credit is forfeited.
- →Cancellation by us (weather/conditions): Full credit to reschedule at a mutually agreeable time.
Momentum Packs
Credit-Based Packages
Momentum Pack credits have defined validity periods:
- 8-session pack: valid for 10 weeks from purchase
- 12-session pack: valid for 14 weeks from purchase
- 24-session pack: valid for 26 weeks from purchase
Expired credits are non-refundable. If you request cancellation of a Momentum Pack within 30 days of purchase, we will issue a pro-rata refund for unused, unexpired credits.
Remote Coaching
Video Analysis
Refunds are available at our discretion if the analysis has not yet been delivered, and the request is made within 7 days of purchase. Once the analysis has been delivered, no refund is available.
Free 6-Week Progression Plan
This is a free service and no refund applies. You may unsubscribe from the associated email program at any time.
Bespoke Surfboard — Design Session Deposit ($150)
- →Cancelled with 24+ hours' notice before the session: Full refund.
- →Session completed but no board order placed: Deposit is retained as a non-refundable consultation fee.
Bespoke Surfboard — Board Order
- →Before shaping commences: Refund may be available at our discretion, minus any costs already incurred.
- →After shaping has commenced: Non-refundable. Custom boards are made to your personal specifications and cannot be resold.
Manufacturing Warranty
We stand behind our craftsmanship. Bespoke surfboards are covered by a 30-day warranty against manufacturing defects (such as delamination) from the date of delivery or collection. This does not cover damage from misuse, impact, heat exposure, improper storage, or normal wear and tear. To make a claim, email info@yugen.surf with your invoice and photos of the defect.
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by agreement. If you believe goods or services we have supplied do not meet a consumer guarantee, please contact us at info@yugen.surf and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
How to Request a Refund
Email info@yugen.surf with your name, order or booking reference, and the reason for your request. We will respond within 5 business days.
